annals of our living history, where travel and freedom, even the mere whiff of exotica, has been curbed like no other. So, our clients
Nikita and Karan Patel from California — like the rest of us, hunkered down in lockdown — decided to make the most of the beauty available at home. Karan lives in San Jose. Nikita and he were game for an engagement session in the beautiful Santa Clara valley, close to where they live. The villa, the lush rolling hills, and a relaxed summer afternoon at our location of the day,
Montalvo Arts Center, were no less Tuscan-ian.
Our idea for these engagement photos were like a recreation of paradise, a memory of memories that stays with you long after the moment has passed. Photographer Ushna Khan’s sensitivity towards mood and feeling has always impressed us and she was a great choice. Planner Denise from the Bay area loves South Asian weddings and finds troves of inspiration and unfettered creativity in the Indian cultural repertoire. This was our A-Team and it was the best and most eclectic, as we joined hands to create this
one for the ages for Nikita and Karan. Also, for ourselves.
