We styled this beautiful bride from Melbourne, Australia. Vedha Dhuri is Maharashtrian who wedded a Gujarati businessman with roots in Calcutta. The couple were unlike any other I had worked with in the last few years. In nearly every query I get these days, all brides want to spend money on clothes but not on jewellery, requesting instead for imitation jewellery. But not Vedha. Her brief was: ‘I want something traditional, rooted and classic.’ She trusted us from the beginning and was also convinced that she wanted precious jewels that she would love and behold for the rest of her life.
