We are based in Mumbai. The Maximum City is home, but it’s also where we find Maximum Inspiration. Inspired by the French Riviera, we set this editorial in Mumbai’s chic Soho House starring the powerful global influencer Diipa Khosla who played a perfect muse to Bridelan. Post her Instagram viral wedding, Diipa and we connected. We admire each other’s work. It was a pleasure to style her as her brief was simple: “I want to relive the moments from my wedding and dress like an Indian bride.” That’s what Diipa told me on the phone from Amsterdam.
Her love for Sabyasachi is well-known. The master returned the love by offering his finest lehenga of the season for Diipa. The other masterpiece of the shoot is the lilac silk hand-work lehenga by Anamika Khanna. Diipa looked like a dream in this look, paired with coiffed hair and uncut diamond jewellery from Nisha Mehta Designs.
