Inspiration is really important for wedding styling. You could say there is a secret and there isn’t one either. For example, Anushka Sharma and Virat Kohli’s wedding must have sought inspiration from many creative places for it to have worked in such a big way. The sources of inspiration can be many and we tend to borrow even subconsciously. For this Bridelan editorial, for instance, we were inspired by sources as disparate as the cinema of Yash Chopra and Wes Anderson, Claude Monet and Impressionists art, European natural landscapes, American wedding photography, elegant Indian clothing and the key factor also being the golden sunlight in Europe. Our work blends imagination with creative innovation, borrowing from classics that have gracefully existed in the history of popular culture.
